Shiba Miyuki is the female protagonist of The Irregular at Magic High School, the younger sister and fiancée of Shiba Tatsuya. A genetically engineered prodigy, she was created as Tatsuya's life partner and magical limiter. She presents as the ideal Yamato Nadeshiko – graceful and composed – but beneath is a passionate young woman who lives for her brother. Deeply in love with Tatsuya and repulsed by other men, she hides her intelligence so he never thinks she does not need him. Her magic specializes in wide-area freezing, including Cocytus, which permanently freezes consciousness.
